End of Autumn term and Spring Term 2006

The Autumn term will end on the 1st December 2005.

Dynamik will re open for the Spring Term 2006 on the 26th January 2006

Sadly we have 2 members who have reached the age of sixteen during the Autumn term:

We say goodbye to Kat Mumford and Hannah Spencer at the end of term, all the staff at Dynamik wish them luck in the future and goodluck in their exams next year (especially their drama exam, which we are sure they will do very well in, keep in touch girls!)

Alteration to casting of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory

Kat Mumford will now take on the role of Mrs TV in the Trowbridge Players production

Autumn Term 2005

Dynamik Youth perfoming arts re opened for the Autum Term on 8th September 2005

We welcome our new members:

Isabel Almeida, Sam Tennant, Katherine Arnold, Amy Driver and Matthew Ball.

Trowbridge Carnival 2005

Those Children cast in roles in Charlie and the chocolate Factory with the Trowbridge Players, went along to Trowbridge Carnival on the 10th September, where we won 3rd prize in our Category.

Charlie and the Chocolate factory Casting

Following the auditions the following Dynamik Youth perfoming Arts members have been cast in Principal and chorus roles:

Principals

Narrator - Michael Comba

Charlie Bucket - Alex knight

Augustus Gloop - Ben Hoole

Mike TV - Jamie Arberry

Mrs Salt - Hannah Spencer

Chorus

Emma Coslett, Rebecca Wyatt, Natalie Spencer

August 2005

The Children are currently auditioning for the Trowbridge Players production of Charlie and the Chocolate factory.

Summer Term 2005

The Children are working during the Youth Group sessions to produce several pieces of original devised theatre.

During the first two weeks they were asked to come up with:

A Time period

Style of theatre

Setting

The Performing Arts that they would like to include

Each child was then given a character to portray within this situation, one person in each group playing a �normal� person and the others portraying much more unusual characters.

They then created the brief for the pieces of theatre they are currently rehearsing

There will be 2 sets of performances at which parents and friends and prospective members will be invited to attend.

Launch

The youth group opened on the 14th April 2005
